MyPlan

MyPlan is a website for a well established company supporting purchasing development activities in the companies. This company is about to launch a new SaaS app and in that process the new website was created and launched. I started the process collecting data, interviewing the customer, exploring the competitors and getting familiar what is the differentiation and value my client brings to it´s customers. After determined the target group, we set up the goal for the website and the functionalities it should offer both for my client and the customers visiting the website. We started from beginning. The new graphics were made to suit my clients new image. The typography, colours and elements, the hierarchy and their relationship to each others were determent. I created the sketch in Figma with the relationships of the links and pages. Using Figma it was easy to show the client how the website would look and make the corrections already to it. As a designer I had all the information for the stylesheet (CSS) and page structure already fixed. It has proven itself to be an effective social media platform for brand building and marketing. Finlandia Foundation San Francisco Bay Area Chapter

With my client Finlandia Foundation San Francisco Bay Area Chapter the biggest target was to decrease the amount of money they were putting into their event booking system and website.  There were several overlapping costs and I wanted to helped them to look more beneficial ways to execute their needs. After the website the monthly savings were reduced almost to zero and the event participations didn´t have to pay any extra for purchasing the tickets. I was also nominated as a board member for the Chapter and responsible of the website and brand development. The organization got a new website with a feature of create and sign up to events, Newsletter template, Brand Manual, logo, business cards, letterhead and a video teaser of the events. It was a project that took over an half a year. It was an intense period of time and there was a lot of things to take into consideration and to solve — for example from domains to SLL certificates and new plugins and getting feedback from the board members to approved versions.

McCammon Enterprises Inc.

McCammon Enterprises Inc., a Canadian company, approached me and asked me to design a logo, business cards, letterhead and Brand Manual for them. The company got a vertical and stacked version of the logo as well as black and white and solid blue versions. The package also included the logo figure that could be used separately and of course Brand Manual to explain where and how to use the logo.

This project was done for Helsinki Figure Skating Club. It included a logo, brochure, poster, business card and the profile manual. The club had a new team formed this year and they needed a logo and the business cards, a senior team Rockettes needed a brochure and the Club a poster for the upcoming skating competition. Four different assignments but still needed to have similarities and something to combine them together. The Club’s profile is very professional. They want to aim higher and do better all the time and in all areas – as well in visual communication.

Garden and Flower festival

This Semester Project was to promote the annual Garden and Flower Festival held in my city. We were to design the logo and the hole visual design for the three day event. The project had to include the logo, Brand Manual and four touch-points: poster, program, ticket bracelets and t-shirt. The report should also include the research on the competing festivals.
