Finlandia Foundation San Francisco Bay Area Chapter
This project was made for Finlandia Foundation San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. It was my Final Project Exam for Noroff, Graphic Design studies. I was also nominated as a board member for the Chapter and responsible of the website and brand development. The organization got a new website with a feature of create and sign up to events, Newsletter template, Brand Manual, logo, business cards, letterhead and a video teaser of the events. It was a project that took over an half a year. It was an intense period of time and there was a lot of things to take into consideration and to solve — for example from domains to SLL certificates and new plugins and getting feedback from the board members to approved versions. When we moved away from USA, I got to leave my position and I’m no longer responsible of the development for example the website.

The company partners with local organic farmers bringing fresh seasonal products to customer’s doorstep. The company needs a new logo and visual identity to suit new customers and markets. Product advertisement
PRODUCT ADVERTISING In this assignment I needed to create a street poster using photography as the main focus and promote a product. The background photograph had to be taking from a pedestrian street in my city at night. The poster had to include the photo of a pedestrian street, slogan, logo and a product photographed in a studio. The product had to be something that could be sold in one of the shops on the pedestrian street. The size for the hole poster had to be A2 portrait. The purpose was to be creative with the camera, explore photography and experiment with lighting. With the right lightning, product/night photo combination and layout I worked to get the atmosphere to the poster.

Branding and packaging
Branding and packaging assignment was to create and design a concept to a dog food brand. The assignment was divided into four parts. The first part was to create a name and a logo, the second part was to design a infographics and a brochure, the third was to design a package for the food and the last to design a sale of point. It also needed to include the brand manual. My dog food's name is "Dog Healthy Food". I wanted to create a a bit upscale but still down to earth feeling for the brand. Not using much colour and to keep it simple. The target group was hipsters or anyone who was looking a bit better food to their dogs. Who likes to take good care of their dogs. The infographic was focusing to the benefits of this food and it could be sold even in Cafe Shops when the owners would get their coffee. Brand manual

Concept design
This Project Exam was a independent work for a real client. As a result my clients in Helsinki Figure Skating Club got a logo, a brochure, a poster, a business card and a profile manual. The club had a new team formed this year and they needed a logo and the business cards, a senior team needed a brochure and the hole Club a poster of an upcoming skating event. It was four different assignments but still needed to have similarities and something to combine them together. The profile is very professional even thought it’s a Club. They want to aim higher and do better all the time and in all of their areas - as well in visual communication.
